SUPPORTING OTHER PROJECTS DURING COVID

Many Cats has been lucky to be involved with projects birthed from the current pandemic. Amongst their favourites, they helped give life to designs created by local children to bring colour and local pride to the masks people wear in the community.

Working with the staff of Stockton's Castlegate Shopping Centre and Wellington Square, Many Cats used their knowledge and creative skills to bring to the competition winners to fully pandemic-battling mask glory.

Getting to see the designs created by the local children left us truly impressed by the imagination and art skills of our young people in the area. I was glad that people like Chantal Taylor of Castlegate and Wellington Square have the passion to come up with creative and engaging competition for the community to get involved with. The theme was ‘Love where you live’ with young people asked to depict something they love about the area.

Using our skills with a tablet and creative art software, we took the designs thought up by the winners and streamlined them to the mask template. Big bold colours were our favourite thing

about them and we loved how they stand out in a crowd of masks.

Even though it is a small thing in the battle against Covid and keeping people safe, we loved that we were hired to help bring these cool masks to the people of Stockton!

We are still available if you have projects needing a creative element to help with lockdown or the grand re-opening in the summer. So drop me an email at chris@manycats.uk
